Last weekend I headed up to the Sunshine Coast to spend the weekend with mum and dad and it just so happened that it happened to coincide with Fathers Day.
It came as no surprise that my golf loving dad chose to go to Noosa Springs Golf Club for lunch.
If you are not a golfing fan, you probably would not consider going to a golf club for a meal, but you certainly don’t need to be to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and great food.
From the minute you walk in, there are lovely touches everywhere.
Immaculate gardens and water features abound.
There is an extensive menu including tapas, light meals, salads and main meals. Of course there is desserts and you can just call in and enjoy a coffee.
My parents have been there a few times and mum was tossing up between two options, so we ordered one of each and shared.
The triple layer prawn sandwich was full of fresh prawns and the steak sandwich had a generous serving of steak that was super tender.
Washed down with a delightful Sav Blanc on the big deck with the sunlight dappling through on a gorgeous Spring day does not get much better than this!
The view over the golf course is just beautiful.
You can stay at Noosa Springs in their resort accommodation, a 25mt heated swimming pool and there is a wonderful day spa that mum has been to a few times which she loves, especially the hydrotherapy pool.
If you do love golf, the pro shop is stocked with an amazing selection of clothing for men and women and of course all the other goodies you need to for a day on the greens.
We had such a lovely day, I now know why mum and dad enjoy visiting for lunch.
(This post is not sponsored, I do love sharing good things I discover)
Do you golf?
