Hands up if you have spent countless hours standing in front of your wardrobe, wondering what to wear?
I have wasted plenty of time pondering what to wear and if I am really lucky an item or two that I have forgotten about get discovered at the bottom of the pile and save the day.
Now we would all love a maid to sort our clothes and lay them out on the bed for us ready to slip on at any time!
With a little bit of effort, you can have a magically organised wardrobe and a complete catalogue of your outfits with the help of your smart phone!
Love a beautifully organised wardrobe!
First things first, grab your iphone and download the CLOTH <
/strong>app – it’s Free!
Then it is time to tackle your wardrobe, ideally empty it all out on to your bed or floor if you need the space.
Use the 3 D’s to sort out every item you have –
DITCH – Have a garbage bag to fill with every item that has really reached it’s use-by date.
DONATE – If it does not fit or you simply have had enough, but the item is too good to throw out, have another garbage bag to drop off to your local charity bin.
DEPLOY – These are all the items that are going back into the wardrobe. Before you put anything away, take a pic of it with the CLOTH app and add it into the right catagory – work, play, formal etc.
Hang all your tops together, and do the same with pants, skirts, dresses and jackets. It is so much easier to find what you are looking for if all the same style are grouped together.
When it is time to decide what to wear in the morning, you simply go to CLOTH and flip through all the choices you have available and you simply pick what you want. Adding accessories that you like to wear with the outfits will remind you to actually wear that beautiful necklace or glam earrings if you see them in the pic.
Just a few hours work, will have it set up ready to go. Everytime you buy a new piece make sure you add it too your CLOTH app so that you don’t leave it sitting in your wardrobe with the tag attached, only to dispose off it in a year or two because you no longer like it and completely forgot to wear it.
Do you struggle to find things to wear or are you all neat and super organised?

Sounds like a great app! At the moment, I wont be tackling my wardrobe until at least a year after I have my baby so I know what size I am and what clothes can be culled and purchased.
WOW this is incredible it kinda reminds me of way back when….Clueless when she picked her outfits on the computer 🙂
What a great idea! I don’t have a very large wardrobe of clothes so having less to choose from makes the job easier, I think. I’d love to have a larger wardrobe to fill with clothes but sadly I have no space. Is that gorgeous wardrobe image your wardrobe? How fantastic!
xx
How cool…except will it wash, iron and add it back to my wardrobe? I really wish I had a wardrobe like the one in the picture.
Sounds like a great app. I guess the key is to have clothing in the wardrobe you want to wear vs just cluttering it.
Downloaded and will do it now!! I need to cull my wardrobe since moving down to SA; I just don’t think I will wear half of this stuff again and i have less space to put it. So thank you!!!
